Join the Victorian Electoral Commission in a full‐time, fixed‐term VPS Grade 6.1 role to 30 April 2027, offering a salary of $142,790 – $166,938 plus superannuation. What you will be doing

Reporting to the Director, Election Staffing, this role provides senior leadership across centralised election staffing functions, supporting the delivery of workforce programs for the 2026 State Election.

Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of centralised staffing operations for major electoral events, including VPS surge recruitment and the planning, mobilisation and management of large‐scale temporary election and labour‐hire workforces supporting centralised operations.
* Manage and oversee multiple labour‐hire contracts, including establishment, service level management, variation management, issue resolution and performance.
* Lead complex, time‐critical projects associated with the establishment, scaling and operation of the Centralised Activity Site, ensuring milestones, deliverables and resourcing requirements are met.
What you will bring to the role
* Strong experience managing multiple service contracts in a complex operational environment, with demonstrated ability to oversee supplier performance against service level agreements, manage risks and issues, and negotiate outcomes.
* Experience leading large‐scale workforce operations while designing, implementing and operating staffing models that mitigate risk and maintain compliance, quality and performance.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast‐paced business environment.
