Two Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) positions are available within UniSC's Enterprise Services team, located at UniSC Sunshine Coast (Sippy Downs) or UniSC Moreton Bay (Petrie). These full‐time roles are for Professional Level 9, with an annual salary of $138,698‐$145,268 plus up to 17% employer superannuation.
The Opportunity
UniSC's Information Technology division partners with academic, research and operational units to deliver reliable technology services, modern infrastructure and governance frameworks. The ERP team supports the university's Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and Campus platforms.
Roles
* Senior Technical ERP Specialist – provide technical leadership across solution design, SDLC practices and strategic optimisation of enterprise applications within a DevSecOps environment.
* Enterprise Application Specialist (ERP) – lead platform administration, performance, patching and operational excellence across the PeopleSoft technology stack.
Senior Technical ERP Specialist
* Lead the design, configuration, optimisation and support of UniSC's PeopleSoft ERP systems and associated technologies.
* Support and manage upgrades, patches and system integrations in line with ITIL processes and cybersecurity requirements.
* Troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure high system availability, performance and reliability.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and improve business processes, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
* Contribute to the planning and delivery of system enhancements, modernisation initiatives and service improvements.
* Provide technical and development leadership across architecture, solution design and SDLC practices, including standards, tooling and delivery frameworks.
* Lead complex problem analysis, solution delivery and advise on technical risk, sustainability and strategic direction.
* Drive process optimisation, standardisation and continuous improvement across enterprise applications.
Enterprise Application Specialist (ERP)
* Lead platform administration and continuous improvement across the full PeopleSoft stack (PeopleTools, WebLogic, Tuxedo and related technologies).
* Manage patching, environments, performance, availability and system security across development, test and production.
* Plan and oversee platform management, lifecycle activities including upgrades, maintenance and system monitoring for performance and reliability.
* Support and manage upgrades, patches, environments and vendor engagements within enterprise IT frameworks.
* Support design, configuration, optimisation and support of PeopleSoft ERP systems and associated technologies.
* Ensure high system availability, reliability and performance through proactive troubleshooting.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to analyse and improve business processes, ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency.
* Contribute to planning and delivery of system enhancements, modernisation initiatives and service improvements.
Qualifications
* Postgraduate qualifications (or equivalent extensive experience) in IT, digital systems or a related discipline.
* Extensive experience developing, implementing, configuring and supporting complex PeopleSoft ERP systems and solutions within PeopleSoft HCM and Campus.
* Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, integrations and system lifecycle management.
* Demonstrated experience supporting and managing upgrades, patches, environments and vendor engagements within enterprise IT frameworks.
* Highly developed analytical, problem‐solving and process optimisation skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to advise, train and collaborate effectively.
* Strong technical capability, sound judgement and commitment to delivering reliable, secure and high‐performing systems.
