Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced Civil & Structural Project Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of civil and structural infrastructure projects throughout the Perth metropolitan area, with occasional DIDO assignments to regional Western Australian project sites. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and successful execution of civil and structural works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

* Manage and deliver civil and structural engineering projects across Perth metropolitan and regional WA project sites.
* Apply sound project management principles to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Oversee and coordinate road pavement construction, bulk and detailed earthworks, drainage and utilities installation, reinforced concrete structures, and associated civil infrastructure works.
* Coordinate piling and foundation works where required.
* Ensure all projects comply with the Company's HSEQ Management System, relevant legislation, client requirements, and applicable Australian Standards.
* Organise and direct site labour, subcontractors, plant, equipment, and material deliveries, ensuring efficient project execution.
* Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project programs and schedules to coordinate site activities and achieve project milestones.
* Provide technical engineering support and guidance to construction teams during project execution.
* Monitor project costs, productivity, and performance, including forecasting, reporting, and performance index analysis.
* Manage procurement activities, subcontractor engagement, and supplier performance throughout project delivery.
* Implement and monitor quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
* Maintain accurate project records, reporting, and site administration documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

* Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
* Proven experience delivering projects within the Perth metropolitan area and/or regional WA DIDO environments.
* Road pavement design and construction experience.
* Bulk and detailed earthworks experience.
* Drainage, stormwater, sewer, water, and utilities infrastructure experience.
* Reinforced concrete engineering and design experience, including foundations, slabs, retaining walls, culverts, and associated structures.
* Structural steel design, detailing, and construction experience.
* Piling and foundation engineering experience (advantageous).
* Experience in temporary works design coordination and management.
* Strong understanding of Australian Standards, Austroads, Main Roads WA, and relevant civil and structural design codes.
* Experience preparing, reviewing, and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports.
* Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Strong cost management and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, take-offs, and first-principles estimating.
* Proven ability to monitor and control project costs, variations, and performance.
* Strong quality assurance and quality control experience.
* Sound knowledge of HSEQ systems and compliance requirements.
* Experience conducting site inspections, investigations, and technical assessments.
* Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve non-conformances and technical issues.
* Strong stakeholder management and client relationship skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
* Current C Class Driver's Licence.
* Ability and willingness to travel to regional project sites and work DIDO rosters as required.
