Base Coordinator Role
This role plays a pivotal part in leading day-to-day operations at the Weemol Ranger Base, ensuring that base functions, logistics, and remote work teams operate effectively to support programs. As a key communicator and facilitator, you will convene meetings, communicate between Base and Darwin operations, and develop a strong cultural understanding of working on Country.

As a seasoned leader, you will play a critical role in implementing workforce management, supporting workforce development, and the success of rangers and staff. You will oversee outstation work and accommodation, facilities, workshop, building works, base administration, and outstation operations. This position also involves identifying system gaps, updating processes, and implementing solutions.

* Public speaking, stakeholder representation, and group facilitation experience
Achieving success in this role requires high emotional intelligence and maturity, sound computer literacy, and confidence using digital tools. A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Conservation/Land Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is highly desirable, as well as trade qualifications. Working knowledge of Aboriginal Land Rights Act (NT) 1976, Native Title Act 1993, Aboriginal Land Act NT (1978), Sacred Sites Act (1979), and the Biodiversity Conservation Act (1999) is essential.
