We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Canberra and support the delivery of a long-term project.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects, utilizing your expertise in construction management, design coordination, and client liaison. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and manage medium and short-range construction programs, ensuring timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage medium and short-range construction programs.
* Design management and coordination.
* Client management and liaison.
* Procurement of tender packages and preparation of subcontract agreements.
* Review and sign-off of subcontractor claims and variations.
* Preparation of cost forecasts and manage cost controls/reporting for designated work areas.
* Implementation of project EHS and quality plans and project management plan requirements.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* An Australian Citizenship at the time of application.
* A Government Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
* 4-8 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably on large-scale building construction projects.
* Previous on-site construction delivery experience, looking after major trade packages.
* A degree qualification in a relevant field of study (Engineering, Construction Management etc).
* Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.
