Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to lead the design and delivery of urban infrastructure and roads projects. This permanent full-time role involves resolving design constraints, coordinating projects, and collaborating with various disciplines within a multi-disciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in design and delivery of roads projects, preferably with Transport Main Roads experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, coordination, and project management of urban and road projects from feasibility through to construction
* Prepare technical reports and specifications
* Provide technical expertise to clients and support projects
* Manage projects including scheduling and preparation of project budgets
* Coordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projects
* Undertake and manage site inspections
* Contribute to the development of our knowledge and skills in civil engineering, including planning, design, and construction
* Maintain existing and develop new relationships with key clients
* Assist in securing and delivering projects through business development and client relationship management
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Civil Engineering
* Demonstrated experience in civil engineering design and project delivery, preferably with roads. TMR experience is beneficial
* Experience and sound understanding of current civil engineering technologies, including design, modeling, and construction
* Project management skills
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
