With contracts locked in till the late 2030's, this organisation requires a safety advisor with high levels of engagement for their Eastern Creek based role.
**Duties including**:
- Reinforcing safety and strategy at a site level
- Preparing Monthly WHS reports
- Encouraging hazard identification and responding to same
- Monitoring Sub-contractors WHS compliance
- Incident investigation
**Skills and Experience**:
- Certificate 4 in WHS minimum
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a safety role, preferably within a roads, traffic, maintenance, construction type of industry.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, standards and best practices
- Robust engagement and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders on the job
- Experience in conducting safety audits, risk assessments and investigations
Reporting to the risk and compliance Manager, you will receive a level of coaching and mentoring if required.
The role is predominantly working out at various sites. A pool car is available. Travel is restricted to around 30kms. This is not a working from home type of role.
A sophisticated safety management system and positive culture is in place, for the 70+ staff.
