Job Title: Network Infrastructure Architect
At XPT Software Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled Network Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As an OT Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing IP/MPLS networks for IPTV/Triple Play, Metro-E, CORE, Mobile Backhaul, BNG, CGNAT, and AA/DPI environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design L2 MPLS, L3 MPLS, LDP, BGP, and DMVPN solutions and validate implementations.
* Lead testing & validation with engineering teams and customers.
* Support IP/MPLS projects as an IPR Solution Architect championing end-to-end architecture and design.
* Create and maintain test documents, tools, and templates for POCs, trials, and projects.
* Assist Services Tendering Team on BOM & high-level solution reviews; support TPM on effort estimates and RFP clarifications.
* Collaborate with senior management on solutioning, technical escalation, and network outage resolution.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
* Strong knowledge of IPv4 and IPv6 (unicast & multicast) and clock synchronization.
* Expertise with Ethernet-based industrial networks such as PROFINET and Ethernet-IP.
* Experience designing NB-IoT and CAT-M1 solutions.
* Proficiency in IEC standards for power industry communications.
* Good understanding of cybersecurity frameworks: NIST, AESCSF, Purdue.
* Background in IP technologies, data communication, LAN/WAN, VPN services.
* Familiarity with SDN, SD-WAN, NFV, and willingness to learn new tech.
