Who we're looking for
Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading site operations on this large hospital project, driving programme outcomes and ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of works. This is a senior leadership role where you'll coordinate subcontractors, manage site teams, and ensure works are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage day‐to‐day site operations, supervising subcontractors and site teams.
* Drive programme delivery through short‐term planning and monitoring progress against key milestones.
* Ensure strict compliance with OH&S, QA and IR requirements, maintaining a safe working environment.
* Coordinate and oversee construction activities to achieve quality, time and cost targets.
* Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring works are completed to specification and schedule.
* Manage site documentation, including safety records, site diaries and reporting.
* Identify and resolve construction, design and coordination issues on site.
* Lead, mentor and develop site staff, fostering a high‐performance project team.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams, consultants and key stakeholders.
About You
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Supervisor / Site Supervisor on major construction projects.
* Strong knowledge of building trades and construction methodologies.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
* Sound understanding of Australian building codes and OH&S legislation.
* Experience across structures is essential; finishes experience (highly regarded).
* Trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
