UOW Pulse is a not for profit organisation that enhances campus life for students and staff through events, entertainment and experiences. We are a proud Child Safe Organisation and take the safety of children and young people that we employ, support and care for seriously, and have a zero tolerance for child abuse. We have strict guidelines, policies, procedures, processes and training in place to support our teams in interacting with and working alongside children and young people. The wellbeing of children and young people is at the forefront of what we do and the decisions we make.
The role
We're seeking dedicated diploma qualified educators to provide high quality education and care to our children. We have multiple positions available to work across our services in Wollongong:
* Kids Uni North – 1 x maximum term, part time, 2 days per week (Mon, Tues) to cover parental leave
* Casual positions based across all four of our services
Both services operate above regulations, ratios and required qualifications. We pride ourselves on our child-focused philosophy andourpracticesthat keepchildren and families at the centre of all we do. All breaks are paid, training opportunities are paid at overtime rates, and as a full time Educator, you'll be entitled to approximately 8 weeks of leave per year (pro rata)– between annual leave, time off in lieu and concessional days (extra days off between Christmas and New Year's Eve).
What you'll need to apply
* Qualified with a Diploma in Early Childhood.
* Hold a current paid Working with Children Check.
* Hold a current HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate.
* Be willing to undertake any additional training requirements for the role.
