Business Development Manager - Industrial Electrical Sector | Brisbane, QLD | Full Time

PERSOL is excited to partner with a leading industrial electrical and automation company on this critical Business Development Manager role, based in Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business and play a key role in driving revenue, client engagement, and strategic business growth.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially-minded Business Development Manager to focus on the Industrial and Commercial Electrical, Automation, and related sectors. You will identify and secure new business opportunities, develop strong client relationships, and work closely with internal teams to position the company's capabilities effectively in the market.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement business development strategies and sales plans.
- Identify and pursue new leads, projects, and market opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, OEMs, and industry stakeholders.
- Prepare proposals, capability statements, presentations, and tender submissions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, and Operations teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting.

About You

- Demonstrated experience in business development or account management within Industrial/Commercial Electrical, Automation, or Engineering sectors.
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and securing new business.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate technical information into commercial opportunities.
- Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office.
- Current Australian driver's licence.

- Highly self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑driven, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
- Comfortable collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored solutions and drive business growth.
