Fire Technician – Sydney Portables
We are looking for a Fire Technician to join our Sydney Portables team.
The Role
Based out of our Rydalmere Fire Division you will have responsibility for a metro region. Your key responsibility will be to attend customer sites to install, service and maintain fire protection equipment including hose reels, extinguishers, hydrants and other related products.
This Will Include
Servicing of portable fire equipment to Chubb Fire Safety standards of quality and delivery excellence, whilst exceeding customer service expectations at every available opportunity.
* Assist in growing our sales and increasing our market share.
* Use power tools to install and repair portable fire equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire hose reels, fire blankets and fire hydrants.
* Provide excellent customer service and advice to clients on site.
* Use our in‐house mobile application to plan and organise your schedule.
To Be Successful
Whilst previous experience in the fire industry is preferred it is not essential as you will receive all the training required to perform your role at a high standard. If you have a service mindset and enjoy customer interaction you can achieve the outcomes we desire.
You Will Need The Following
* Certificate II in Fire Protection is preferred or willing to obtain within in‐house training.
* Current driver's licence.
* A construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one).
* An appreciation of excellent customer service and the ability to communicate with clients on site.
* Good time management and organisational skills.
* The ability to work away from home when required.
* Demonstrate efficiency through prior time and route planning.
* Be a proactive member of the team.
