Who we are looking for
* caring and compassionate, patient, non-judgemental Pastoral volunteers who are good listeners and comfortable with quiet moments and meaningful conversation
* interested in supporting the emotional and spiritual well‐being of our residents
* active participation in, and recognition from, a church community with a willingness to operate within Bethanie's theological approach, founded in the teaching of Churches of Christ.
About this role
* as a valued volunteer, this fulfilling role will see you assist with running a live stream church service for residents to watch on Sunday mornings.
* our Pastoral Care volunteers build trusted and meaningful relationships with our residents, journeying alongside them to support their participation and wellbeing through pastoral and spiritual engagement.

Commitment
Regular - more than 6 months
Time Required
Sunday mornings from 9:00am - 11:00am for a minimum commitment of six months.
Training
Volunteers undertake online Infection Control and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards training. All volunteers receive an orientation at site prior to commencement and further training when required.
