Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with daily routines and active support at Oswin Road mental health service
- Help with engagement with drug and alcohol services, community psychiatric nurses, treatment teams, doctors, and social services
- Manage personal finances, housing issues, and understand rights and responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with friends, family, neighbours, and local community
- Maintain high standards of personal care, including cleaning, toileting, bathing, oral hygiene, and hair care
- Plan, shop for, prepare, and cook balanced meals
- Facilitate access to mainstream activities and encourage participation in social, leisure, and learning activities
- Assist with accessing local community services (GP, dentist, chemist, optician)
- Provide planned and responsive support during day, emergency support overnight (shift patterns as described)
