About the Role We’re looking for a newly graduated Engineer (Mechanical) or someone who is about to graduate to join our team in Welshpool.
You’ll start off your career as an Internal Sales/Parts Interpreter and, as you learn and develop within the business, you’ll have the opportunity to progress into a more technical sales role.
A little bit about the role:
Attend to counter, telephone and online orders and enquiries
Follow up customer quotes
Assist in converting customer quotes to sales
Process customer orders including sourcing, packing and dispatch
Promote Applied’s product, service and solutions range to fulfill customer needs
Manage technical relationships with customers
Handle all technical enquiries and coordinate suppliers from a technical perspective
Assist in preparing and facilitating training
And much more as you develop in the role
You’ll also have exposure to our subject matter experts in our Reliability & Services Department.
Qualifications
Natural team player with a desire to provide exceptional customer service
Proven customer service experience, ideally in the industrial retail sector
Strong mechanical aptitude
Great at multitasking and prioritising
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
