The role of Maintenance Handyperson involves ensuring all maintenance work is carried out to the highest possible standard, as directed by the Facilities Manager and in accordance with regulations and standards.
Key responsibilities include maintaining plant and equipment, responding promptly to work requests, attending to requisitions in order of priority, assisting tradespersons as required, carrying out minor building repairs, and monitoring and supervising the work of lower-level maintenance caregivers.
A highly experienced maintenance professional with over five years of hands-on experience in a similar role is sought. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently, demonstrating strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment.
