The role:
As Operations Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations while contributing to strategic planning and long-term growth across the region. You will lead a diverse operational team and ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with regulatory and customer requirements.
* Lead waste, industrial services and logistics operations across the Pilbara
* Manage teams, workforce planning and day-to-day service delivery
* Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
* Oversee collections, fleet, plant and controlled waste activities
* Monitor performance, costs and KPIs, driving operational improvements
* Build strong relationships with clients and support business growth
* Contribute to budgeting, reporting and strategic initiatives
About you:
You are a highly capable operational leader with a strong background in waste, logistics or heavy industry, and you thrive in a fast-paced, hands‐on environment.
* 5–10+ years' experience in waste management, logistics or industrial operations
* Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex operational environments
* Strongunderstandingof safety, compliance and environmental best practice
* Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and performance outcomes
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive change
