Your new role
Are you passionate about creating cleaner, healthier communities and driving environmental change? We're seeking an experienced Environmental Project Officer to lead and support sustainability initiatives, climate action programs, and environmental engagement activities. This role plays a key part in delivering innovative strategies that protect and enhance our built and natural environments.
* Develop and implement environmental, sustainability, and environmental health projects and policies
* Coordinate climate change response programs and water-saving initiatives
* Monitor and report on sustainability outcomes across operations
* Support sustainable building management and contribute to environmental reporting
* Facilitate community engagement through workshops, festivals, and education programs
* Prepare technical reports, submissions, and educational materials
* Represent the organisation on relevant committees and working groups
* Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and internal safety systems
* Promote a positive organisational image through ethical and professional conduct
