Assistant Accountant
We're currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant with a reputable NDIS Provider in Hampton East.
Our client has been in the industry for over 70 years and currently supports over 250 people through the delivery of Day Programs, Transport, Support Coordination, Supported Accommodation, Short Term Accommodation and more.
Part‑time, 4‑days a week
12‑month fixed‑term contract
$70,000 - $78,000 + Super (FTE pro‑rata)
Hybrid working — 2 days in office & 2 days from home
Based in Hampton East

About the role
* Assist with the daily processing of accounts and reconciliations
* Transactional processing such as bank transactions and cash allocations
* Completing balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparation of month‑end journals
* Bank and ledger reconciliations
* Ad hoc projects as requested
Qualifications
* Degree in Accounting
* Minimum 2 years in a similar role
* Current knowledge of NDIS processes
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Excellent attention to detail
* Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite
* Familiarity working in NFP, Community Services, Healthcare, Social Housing or Government sectors is highly desirable
* Must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Australia
