About the role of a CS and IMS Core engineer:
As a seasoned professional in Telecom Core Networks, you will have 8+ years of experience. Strong knowledge of CS and IMS Core with 3 to 4 years of Solution Integrator experience is required. Familiarity with various 3GPP CS and IMS Core nodes (i.e., MSC, MRS/MGW, MTAS, CSCF) is essential.
In this challenging position, you will be responsible for integration, configuration changes, hardware expansion, and troubleshooting of MSC, MGW, STP, SBC, IMS (P, I, S-CSCF, ATS, MGCF, MRFP, CG, ENUM), SCCP, Diameter.
A deep understanding of call flow in CS Core, VOLTE/IMS, as well as competent knowledge of GSM / IN call flow, are prerequisites. Experience with prepaid charging system SS7 stacks, INAP, CAMEL, SIGTRAN, is also necessary.
You should have basic experience with Linux and related Virtualization technologies (VMWare, OpenStack, OpenShift, KVM).
The ability to effectively translate technical procedures to the customer and identify impacts to project activities is crucial. You must be able to professionally document method of procedures (MOPS) and low-level designs (LLD) that are technically accurate and aligned with high-level designs (HLD).
Lead Acceptance Testing and coordinate directly with customer stakeholders involved in acceptance of the solution. Excellent communication skills and proven experience working with diverse teams of technical architects, analysts, and testing team are essential.
