Senior Business Analyst – Projects & Assets
We are partnering with a public sector organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Infrastructure Projects & Assets team.
The Role
Provide strategic business analysis and decision support to optimise capital investment, project delivery and asset management outcomes. You will lead business case development, process improvement initiatives and investment prioritisation to deliver maximum value for the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end business analysis, current/future state assessment and requirements definition
* Prepare high‐quality business cases including options, cost‐benefit and risk analysis
* Support investment prioritisation, portfolio optimisation and long‐term capital works planning
* Drive process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
* Provide strategic advice to leadership and prepare executive reports
* Facilitate workshops and manage stakeholder engagement
* Lead and mentor a small team
About You
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Project Management or equivalent experience
* Significant senior business analysis experience in complex organisations
* Proven track record developing robust business cases and cost‐benefit analysis
* Strong understanding of capital works, infrastructure and asset management
* Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
* Current C Class Driver's Licence and National Police Clearance
Desirable
* Local government experience
* Lean/Six Sigma or Business Analysis certifications
Compensation
* $71.23 per hour, 38 hours per week for up to 12 weeks
