Offer description

Georgiou is seeking a Project Administrator with ideal experience in major civil infrastructure projects to join our $1 Billion Tonkin Extension Alliance project.

At Georgiou—now proudly part of STRABAG SE, one of Europe's largest construction technology groups—you'll join a business where local expertise meets global opportunity.

For nearly 50 years, we've built Australia's infrastructure and our reputation for being the best people to work with.

With Georgiou's local knowledge and experience and STRABAG's forward-thinking innovation, we're delivering projects that connect communities, develop people, and set new industry benchmarks, all while staying true to the culture and values that make Georgiou unique.

Why You'll Love Working Here:
* Build impact that lasts – work on iconic projects shaping Australian communities.
* Grow without limits – access world‐class training, mentoring, and career pathways across Australia and STRABAG's global network.
* Flexibility that works for you – enjoy wellbeing leave, paid parental leave, and support to help you stay connected to life beyond work.
* Belong and be supported – inclusive facilities like free hygiene products, parental and prayer rooms, and wellbeing programs.
* A culture that cares – our values of Care, Integrity, and Excellence guide everything we do.
* Reward for your work – competitive packages, annual reviews, and access to the Georgiou Perks discounts platform.
About the role:

As part of our commitment to increasing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participation across our projects, this role is currently being prioritised for First Nations candidates. We strongly encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Based in Byford, you will act as the key administrative point of contact for the project team on site. Working closely with Engineers and Delivery Managers, you will support the day‐to‐day operations of the compound and ensure the site runs efficiently.

This is a highly autonomous role where you will be the primary on‐site admin resource. You will be trusted to manage priorities independently and respond to the needs of a fast‐paced delivery team.

* Act as the main point of contact for all administrative matters within the Orton Compound
* Support our project team including our Delivery Manager and Engineers with day‐to‐day coordination
* Manage site facilities, including stock, cleanliness, and general upkeep of the compound
* Raise and process purchase orders (POs) and invoices
* Maintain site documentation, including delivery dockets and records
* Provide general administrative support to the delivery team as required
* Operate autonomously while managing competing priorities on site
Your Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a site‐based administration or similar role (construction/civil infrastructure preferred)
* Comfortable working independently as the sole admin on site
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Confident communicator who can engage with engineers, supervisors, and stakeholders
* Practical, proactive, and willing to support where needed in a fast‐paced environment
