We are currently seeking Warehouse Operators to support a leading supplier of steel reinforcing products to the Australian construction industry. With over 100 years of experience, our client delivers high-quality, Australian-made mesh and bar used in major construction and infrastructure projects nationwide. As a key part of the warehouse and logistics team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient handling and movement of materials. Key Responsibilities Unload deliveries and check goods against delivery documents Inspect materials for quality and accuracy Safely stack, store, and retrieve steel products and inventory Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch Load goods onto delivery trucks Operate overhead cranes and other material handling equipment in line with safety guidelines Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment Assist with stocktakes, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation Report any damage, discrepancies or safety concerns to supervisors Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics team members to meet daily targets What We're Looking For Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or materials handling role (preferred) Ability to safely operate lifting, rigging or material handling equipment Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy loads (up to 25kg or more depending on task) Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset Reliable, punctual and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment Basic computer literacy and organisational skills Willingness to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols What's In It for You Competitive pay shift allowances On-the-job training and skill development Supportive and safety-focused work environment Part of a growing business with multiple sites across Australia Career progression opportunities into logistics or operations leadership Sound like the opportunity you've been looking for?
