Construction Area Manager / Superintendent
Role Summary
Responsible for the safe, efficient execution of field construction activities within an assigned area. Leads craft and subcontractor teams to deliver scope in compliance with our client'sOSR/OSIP, project schedule, cost, quality, and HSE requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and enforceHSE culture; ensure compliance with site, client, and regulatory standards
* Plan, sequence, and supervise daily construction activities across assigned crafts/areas
* Manage foremen, craft labor, and subcontractors to meet productivity, quality, and schedule targets
* Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, Project Controls, Materials, and Commissioning
* Monitor progress, resolve field issues, and support short‐interval and look‐ahead planning
* Ensure work is executed to drawings, specifications, and approved work packs
* Control scope changes, minimize rework, and support cost and schedule objectives
Key Requirements
* Strong field leadership experience in EPC/EPCM construction environments
* Proven ability to manage multi‐discipline craft and subcontractor teams
* Solid understanding of construction means and methods, workface planning, and productivity
* Strong communication, coordination, and problem‐solving skills
* Commitment to safety, quality, andoperating systems
Qualifications
* 4‐year degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience
* 8–15+ years of construction supervision experience (industry and project dependent)
* Trade background and superintendent experience highly regarded
* Experience on industrial, infrastructure, power, mining, or major capital projects preferred
