Hands-on leadership role with growth potential
Synergie is seeking a motivated and hands-on Team Leader to support and grow our North Queensland operation based in Townsville.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front, building strong client relationships, supporting day-to-day operations, and contributing to branch growth within a fast-paced blue-collar recruitment environment.
You'll play a key role in balancing client engagement, workforce coordination, and team leadership while helping drive operational performance across the region.
About the role
In this position, you will:
* Support business growth through client engagement and relationship development
* Manage recruitment delivery and workforce coordination across key accounts
* Lead and mentor a small team of consultants and on-site workforce
* Conduct regular client visits and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
* Assist with branch performance, operational delivery, and workforce planning
* Maintain strong compliance and safety standards across operations
* Support day-to-day branch activities within a fast-moving labour hire environment
About you
We're looking for someone who brings experience within recruitment, labour hire, staffing, or workforce solutions, along with a proactive and hands-on approach to leadership.
To be successful, you will have:
* Strong client relationship and communication skills
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience (highly regarded)
* The ability to work closely with clients and field staff
* Strong organisational skills with a solutions-focused mindset
* Confidence managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of the Townsville or North Queensland market (advantageous)
