Join a dynamic, fast-paced surgical environment where your expertise and commitment to excellence will be highly valued.We are currently seeking Associate Nurse Unit Managers (ANUMs) to support our growing Perioperative Services Team. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a modern, redeveloped facility with cutting-edge technology, newly expanded clinical services, and a commitment to professional development and patient care.Recent DevelopmentsOur facility has recently undergone a major redevelopment to meet the growing healthcare needs of the Northern suburbs. Highlights include:4 brand-new operating theatresA new 4-bed high dependency unitExpanded Orthopaedic servicesPremium consulting suites, on-site pharmacy, and day surgery admission areaIntegration with an academic health precinct, supporting nursing education and clinical researchKey ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and clinical guidance across perioperative services, particularly in UrologySupport a culture of learning, safety, and continuous improvementCoordinate evidence-based nursing care and ensure optimal resource managementFoster strong professional relationships with VMOs and multidisciplinary teamsAssist with clinical audits and lead quality improvement initiativesParticipate in direct patient care as requiredQualifications and SkillsCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseRecent experience as Shift Coordinator, ANUM, or Clinical Nurse Specialist (desirable)Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing (or working towards)Strong clinical knowledge and alignment with ACQSHC National StandardsDemonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and model positive behavioursExceptional communication, time management, and customer service skillsConfidence managing a fast-paced and evolving clinical environmentProficiency with MS Office and clinical data systemsCurrent Working With Children CheckApplication DetailsIf you’re looking to take the next step in your nursing leadership journey within a state-of-the-art perioperative environment, we’d love to hear from you.
