Legal Practice Director
Full-Time (4 days: Tuesday-Friday)
\$180,000 - \$250,000 + performance incentive
We are seeking an experienced Legal Practice Director (LPD) to join the firm in a senior employed capacity.
This role is a salaried employee position, not an equity or partnership position. Future structural opportunities may be discussed for the right candidate.
The Role
* Serve as Legal Practice Director of the firm (as an employee Director)
* Establish and maintain compliance systems and risk frameworks
* Supervise legal staff and ensure high-quality service delivery
* Oversee legal operations, file management, and client outcomes
* Contribute to financial performance and operational efficiency
* Engage with the Board and regulators (LPBWA) as required
* Support the development of a structured, compliant, and scalable practice
* This is a hands‐on leadership role with accountability, not a passive or advisory position
What We're Looking For
* Unrestricted WA practising certificate with eligibility to act as LPD
* Experience in legal practice management or senior leadership
* Strong understanding of:
o Uniform Law compliance
o Trust accounting and supervision obligations
o Risk and governance in a legal practice
o Commercial awareness and ability to operate within a business‐led environment
* High level of professional judgment and integrity
Role Structure (Important)
* This is a salaried employee position
* You will not be required to contribute capital or hold equity
* You are required to be appointed as a Director of the Company in a shared role with the majority shareholder
* The firm operates with board-level oversight and centralised business management
