Body Connection Pty Ltd is a trusted wellness clinic located in Tweed Heads South, offering professional massage therapy and holistic care to a diverse client base amongst other services. We are currently seeking a skilled and qualified Massage Therapist to join our supportive and client-focused team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Consulting with clients to discuss their health concerns and goals, and recommending appropriate massage treatments tailored to their needs.
* Examining muscle condition, posture, and overall physical presentation to adapt massage techniques for the best outcome.
* Providing relaxation, remedial, and deep-tissue massage to relieve tension, aid recovery, and support rehabilitation programs.
* Giving clients practical advice on stretching, posture, and self-care practices to complement the treatments provided.
* Keeping accurate and confidential notes on treatment sessions, client progress, and therapy outcomes.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional treatment space that meets health and hygiene standards.
* Liaising with other health professionals when necessary to ensure integrated care for clients.
* Using, where appropriate, complementary methods such as acupressure, essential oils, and hot or cold applications to enhance recovery and wellbeing.
Requirements:
* A relevant Diploma-level qualification or higher in Massage Therapy, Physiotherapy, or a related field.
* Proven 3 years experience as a Massage Therapist with excellent hands-on technique and client communication skills.
* Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic massage principles.
