About the Role
Due to ongoing growth, our client is seeking a proficient and versatile Technical Solutions Manager to join their Sydney team. This pivotal role is responsible for providing education, account management, and expert guidance for the deployment and maintenance of solutions for both new and existing customers. You will oversee the technical team, manage project escalations, coordinate project timelines, develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and report on team performance. The role encompasses project coordination, reporting, ticket analysis, and personnel management, with a dual-reporting function to the Chief Technology Officer and the Senior Leadership Team as required. You will also work closely with other senior leaders to achieve strategic outcomes.
The Successful Candidate
You will bring:
* A degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field (desirable).
* A proven track record of successful technical and people leadership, ideally within a managed services environment.
* Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and common corporate technologies.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Proficiency in PSA (or CRM) software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Experience in project management and service-oriented architecture.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
* Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
* Willingness to travel as needed, including possession of a valid driver's licence and own car.
You will be adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions. Experience in managing technical teams, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a positive team environment is essential.
