We’re seeking a hands-on Distribution Centre Manager to lead our client's Perth operation and drive the next phase of their growth. You’ll oversee a large warehouse facility, manage a high-volume daily operation, and lead a dedicated team. This role offers significant scope to expand as out client's business establishes additional sites across WA.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a permanent team plus contractor staff.
- Manage warehouse operations: receiving, cycle counts, pick/pack, and dispatch.
- Oversee daily inbound shipments and ensure smooth distribution.
- Coordinate multiple B2B deliveries each day across Perth and regional WA.
- Partner with sales to align operations with customer needs.
- Drive safety, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven leadership in distribution, logistics, or warehousing.
- Solid HR and people management skills with a coaching approach.
- Hands-on manager – able to balance strategy with practical leadership.
- Customer-focused, process-driven, and skilled at removing inefficiencies.
