Our amazing clinic team of Research Nurses and Clinical Trial Assistants work collaboratively to ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care whilst also contributing to medical research.
Job Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Clinical Trial Assistant to join our team on a full‐time basis, working across our Joondalup and Nedlands locations. This role requires flexibility, with availability to work shifts across a 24‐hour roster, including weekends.
Your Role in Our Future
With the support of a Research Nurse and wider clinic team you will conduct a range of clinical screening activities and assessments to determine the eligibility of clinical trial participants in line with study protocols and procedures. Full training will be provided enabling you to carry out taking bloods and other sample collection along with recording height, weight and other screening data points. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring a positive participant experience and will have the opportunity to collaborate with wider teams across Linear.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct all clinical activities including ECG, blood collection, venepuncture and cannulation (full training provided).
* Liaise with the lab team to support correct storage and transfer of biological samples.
* Carry out inventory stock checks, collate trial packs and order clinical supplies.
* Record and enter patient data accurately using study specific software.
* Liaise with participants, patients and third party vendors to book appointments for clinical procedures.
Your Experience
The successful applicant will be a strong team player with demonstrated experience working in a patient facing or customer service‐based role in a time sensitive environment. You will have experience working in a fast‐paced environment whilst maintaining a high standard of work and adhering with timeframes and protocols.
Previous experience in a health, medical or patient facing environment (desirable).
Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple tasks.
Ability to work in adherence to strict policies and procedures.
