Join Our Team as a Digital Delivery Assistant at Modmation!

Location: Sydney, NSW | Remote from Australia
Employment Type: Full Time

About Us:

At Modmation, we are an independent consultancy specialising in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Digital Engineering (DE). We work with clients across the public and private sectors to provide advice, support, guidance, and resources in digital project delivery for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO) industry. Our mission is to help our clients reduce risk, improve collaboration, and unlock the full value of their data. Our expertise spans the entire project lifecycle, from establishing robust information requirements and governance frameworks to model coordination, openBIM workflows, and the integration of ISO 19650-compliant processes. We are also proud to be a recognised buildingSMART International Professional Certification Training Provider.

Why Modmation?

At Modmation, we combine technical excellence with a culture of openness, curiosity, and continuous learning. Whether you are based in Sydney or working remotely, if you want to work alongside some of the most experienced BIM and Digital Engineering professionals in the industry, contributing to iconic projects and innovative solutions that set new benchmarks, this is where you belong.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Digital Delivery Assistant to support our team of Digital Delivery Consultants in delivering high-quality BIM and Digital Engineering services across a range of projects. This role is suited to a mid-level BIM or Digital Engineering professional who enjoys hands‐on delivery and wants to focus on execution rather than client‐facing strategy.

In this role, you will work closely with senior consultants to support model coordination, data validation, and the implementation of digital delivery processes. You will take ownership of defined tasks and workflows, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance across project information, while contributing to openBIM workflows and ISO 19650‐compliant processes.

This role is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support model coordination activities, including running clash detection processes and preparing reports.
* Assist with model audits and data validation against established standards and project requirements.
* Maintain and manage information within Common Data Environments (CDEs).
* Support the preparation of BIM documentation, including BIM Execution Plans and QA/QC reports.
* Manage issue tracking and coordination workflows using BCF and other collaboration tools.
* Prepare models and data for exchange, including exports and file packaging.
* Contribute to the consistent application of ISO 19650 and openBIM processes across projects.
What You will Bring:
* Strong attention to detail and a structured, process-driven approach.
* Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* A reliable, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to work independently on defined tasks.
What You Can Expect:
* A salary that reflects your capability, experience, and the value you bring.
* Flexible working arrangements.
* A supportive team culture that values openness and curiosity.
* An environment that embraces knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.
* A workplace that encourages open-minded approaches to problem‐solving.
* Access to buildingSMART International Professional Certification training.
Qualifications:
* Qualifications or experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
* 2–5 years of experience in BIM or Digital Engineering within project delivery environments.
* Practical experience using BIM authoring tools including ArchiCAD, Revit, or Tekla.
* Experience supporting model coordination workflows using tools such as Revizto or ACC Model Coordination.
* Experience working within Common Data Environments (such as ACC, Aconex, etc.).
* Understanding of ISO 19650 and openBIM workflows is advantageous.
Requirements
* Australian Resident.
Ready to Apply?

If you are looking to further develop your career in BIM and Digital Engineering within a high-performing consulting environment, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you are the perfect fit for this role.

Note: All emails from Recruiters will be ignored.
