About the Role
As the Assistant Director - Training Package Design, you'll lead the end-to-end design and refinement of training packages. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure learning materials are practical, engaging, and aligned with organisational goals.
This role offers the opportunity to shape learning experiences that promote psychological safety, innovation, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design of training packages including objectives, content, delivery methods, and evaluation tools.
* Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
* Develop facilitator guides, participant resources, eLearning modules, and induction content.
* Collaborate with HR, L&D, and operational teams to align training with strategic goals.
* Trial, evaluate, and refine training packages for continuous improvement.
* Promote wellbeing and inclusive practices through thoughtful training design.
* Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external training procurement.
* Represent the organisation at forums advocating for workforce development.
About You
You're an experienced instructional designer who thrives in collaborative environments and has a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences.

Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications in education, training, HR, or related fields.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) highly desirable.
