We are working with an established client of HCM who are looking to engage an experienced D365 Program Architect on a fixed term basis which is very likely to extend, to work on a Dynamics AX to D365 F&O upgrade. (Although it's a D365 Project - 100% open to talking to Architects from other ERP backgrounds) - We're after an Architect first and foremost. Working as a key partner to the Program Manager, this role provides solution assurance, validates technical designs delivered by the System Integrator (SI), and ensures all solution components meet standards, quality expectations, and project objectives. The Program Architect, D365 Finance & Operations is accountable for solution architecture governance within the D365 program, including approving architecture decisions, defining integration and security standards, and establishing program-level architecture governance and architecture decision forums so that the SI’s detailed designs and builds remain aligned with our clients strategy. Act as the primary solution architecture advisor to the Program Manager for the D365 program. Essential to the role - you must have this experience: 5yrs experience designing, implementing, or governing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or other Finance ERP solutions within complex programs/environments. 5yrs experience partnering with a Program Manager and System Integrator to provide solution architecture assurance, design governance, risk identification, and decision support at program level. 5yrs experience reviewing, validating, and challenging System Integrator deliverables, including Solution Blueprints, Technical Design Documents (TDD), integration designs, data migration strategies. Experience across the following functional domains; Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, Projects, and associated end-to-end business processes. Experience with integrating Finance and Supply Chain ERPs. Experience identifying architectural risks, challenging design assumptions, assessing solution complexity, and providing clear, evidence-based recommendations to support program and governance decision-making. Strong documentation and communication capability, with experience producing and assuring architecture artefacts, decision records, and traceability from business requirements through to delivered solutions. Demonstrated experience in developing ERP, solution designs, program architectures, business capability models and roadmaps. Having a Corporate Services background would be ideal / preferred.
