About the role
An exciting immediate opportunity for a Die Cutting Machine Operator to join our established Production team based in our Box Hill plant (until February 2026, then Scoresby). A great opportunity to develop & progress your career with an industry leader and the world’s largest IML manufacturer.
- Set up and operate Heidelberg diecutting machines according to job specifications and production schedules.
- Interpret job dockets, layouts, and specifications to ensure accuracy in cutting, creasing, embossing, and stripping.
- Conduct quality checks and monitor machine performance to maintain high standards and productivity.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of equipment.
- Follow all safety policies and keep your workspace clean, organized, and hazard‑free.
- Collaborate closely with prepress, printing, and finishing teams for smooth workflow.
- Assist in training new operators or assistants when required.
About you
- Strong understanding of diecutting, creasing, embossing, and stripping processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job tickets.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to handle repetitive lifting (up to 20kg), bending, twisting, and standing for long periods.
