Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager
This is a full time position.
Canteen Kitchen Bar at Coolum beach is seeking the services of a knowledgeable, highly motivated and organised Sous Chef to lead our Coolum Beach kitchen operation.
Working with the Directors and General Manager you will utilise your extensive industry knowledge and superior staff training skills to lead and build a great team and drive productivity.

The Sous Chef we are seeking must be a good leader and communicator with the ability to lead by example & set high standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring a consistently high-quality product; Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
Responsible for food & wage costs
Menu cost control
Roster compilation and management
Effective Communication skills
Maintaining development processes & procedures kitchen cleanliness and organisation
Provide leadership, supervision of the entire kitchen staff
Staff recruitment, training, appraisal & disciplinary action
OH&S & HACCP management
Stock Control & Stock taking
Ordering stock
