About the role
As a Trades Assistant you will support our Fabrication workshop to ensure we deliver a quality product to our client, in full and on time. This will include:
* Providing support to the team as required to complete work activities
* Using the Forklift and Overhead Cranes to transport steel as required
* Operating a variety of tools including grinders, power drills and other cutting or shaping tools as required to complete assigned tasks
* Providing assistance to Boilermakers and Welders in the workshop
* Assisting the Workshop Superintendent in various ad hoc duties

About you
* You will ideally have experience of working within the fabrication industry with the following:
* Overhead crane experience
* Solutions focused, always working to execute the defined task with quality and precision in a timely manner
* Ability to work effectively as a team
