Role Purpose
As Retail Manager QLD, you will lead retail operations across Queensland, manage key brand partnerships, and drive sales performance. Your role is central to strengthening existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer experiences across all retail activations.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary liaison for brand partners across duty free operators and local markets, ensuring seamless collaboration and premium execution.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with global luxury brands (e.g., Dior, Coty, Givenchy, Elizabeth Arden) and local partners (e.g., Prestige, Aerre).
* Collaborate strategically with stakeholders to align sales targets, operational goals, and service standards.
* Oversee operational planning, including complex rostering across Brisbane Airport (International & Domestic) and key retail locations such as Westfield centres.
* Monitor sales performance, providing insights and strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
* Prepare and present regular performance reports to management and brand partners.
* Lead recruitment and onboarding of retail and fragrance consultants across Queensland.
* Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with visual merchandising, brand integrity, and operational excellence.
* Manage customer concerns promptly while maintaining strong brand reputation.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximise commercial outcomes.
* Ensure effective communication of training materials and product knowledge to Team Leaders and retail teams.
* Support onboarding and induction processes, particularly within airport environments.
* Ensure all operations comply with retail regulations and airport security requirements.

About You
* Proven experience in a Retail Manager or multi‐site leadership role, ideally within luxury or beauty retail.
* Robust track record in managing key accounts and stakeholder relationships.
* Demonstrated success in driving sales and achieving targets.
* Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
* Experience in high‐security or fast‐paced environments (airports, duty free) is highly desirable.
* Robust organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
* Education & Experience: Candidates must have an Associate degree or higher with at least one year of relevant experience, or a minimum of three years' relevant experience in luxury retail or brand activation.
