About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Mate / Experienced Deckhand on our vessel Rogue Sea, currently being fitted with state of the art fish finding technology and fishing equpment. If you're self-motivated and have experience in commericial fishing this is the position for you
Location: Commercial Fishing off the South Coast, vessel based in Augusta, WA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting up fishing gear and fabricating fishing equipment
* Assist in operating/maintaining 20 metre vessel.
* Load and unload supplies and catch.
* Perform general maintenance and upkeep of equipment and vessel.
* Operate deck componentry including capstans, winches, and cranes.
About You: We're seeking a hands-on, self-motivated individual with a passion for fishing and the following attributes:
* Previous deckhand experience is essential (preferably in a commercial fishing environment).
* Positive, can-do attitude.
* Physical fitness.
* Commitment to safety.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transport.
* Right to work full-time in Australia.
* Tickets a bonus but not essential.
