About the Role
We now have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Library professional to deliver outstanding library services to our community through running the day to day operations at the Coolbellup Library.
Reporting to Service Lead, Libraries you'll lead a team to deliver outstanding customer and library services to the community as part of the Coolbellup Community Hub.
About you
We're seeking an experienced Librarian with a focus on innovative and welcoming service delivery to guide and inspire the small team at Coolbellup Library.
You have proven experience in staff supervision, budget management and a working knowledge of public library operations and practices. You have a passion for providing excellent customer service and for promoting library services and resources to residents.
You have a commitment to making libraries vibrant community hubs, and have great ideas around the future directions of services and programs across Cockburn Libraries.
You have experience in a customer focussed environment and are able to communicate effectively with members of the public and staff. You have demonstrated skills in problem solving, time management and are able to demonstrate these skills along with your ability to use initiative.
Besides demonstrated experience, you'll need to have:
Qualification in Library or Information Management and eligibility for associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association

Salary: Starting from Level 6 Step 1 ($101,353 p/a) City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025 based on qualification and experience.
