Telecoms Engineer
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work independently, think critically, and communicate effectively.
1. Preparation of Construction Drawings: You will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed construction drawings and sketches that meet project specifications.
2. Project Coordination: You will lead the preparation of construction drawings, schedules, and temporary construction facilities, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
3. Work Package Management: You will prepare, review, and approve work packages to ensure they meet project requirements and are implemented efficiently.
4. Implementation of Project Requirements: You will implement Bechtel's SWPPs, project specifications, and procedures to ensure that construction installation requirements are met.
5. Quality Control: You will perform in-progress and final quality and completeness inspections of electrical and telecommunications installations.
6. Punch List Development: You will develop punch lists and monitor completion of punch items to ensure high-quality work.
7. Document Management: You will prepare and disposition Request for Information (RFIs), Field Change Documents (FCDs), and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
8. Collaboration with Design Engineering: You will collaborate with design engineering teams through final disposition to ensure seamless project execution.
9. Vendor and Modyard Carryover Works: You will resolve and close out vendor and Modyard carryover works, NCRs, and necessary documentations.
10. Technical Assistance: You will provide technical assistance to superintendents, supervisors, and craft professionals as needed.
11. Material Management: You will initiate requisitions for field purchases and manage material procurement processes.
12. Quantity Takeoffs: You will prepare quantity takeoffs of field-purchased material and equipment.
13. Material Receiving Inspections: You will review material receiving reports and perform material receiving inspections to ensure accuracy.
14. Quantity Tracking: You will verify commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.
15. Reporting: You will report daily and weekly installed quantities to Project Controls.
16. Safety and Quality Control: You will ensure zero-accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
17. Quality Control Inspections: You will perform quality control inspections and manage associated Inspection and Test Records (ITRs).
18. Completed Work Packages: You will ensure completed work packages and ITRs are submitted to Turnover.
19. Continuous Learning: You will proactively consider continuous learning or shows interest to pursue appropriate learning activities.
