Remuneration/Benefit: As per our Coal EA $71k plus penalties
About the role
Our Toowoomba depot is seeking a freight operator (shunter) to join their team. Please be aware the training will consist of classroom-based training with additional on the job training to ensure you become a safe operator in the yard.
* Shunting and yard duties (including cleaning)
* Examine and certify trains as ready for departure
* Work in accordance with Aurizon's safety and operational standards and procedures
* Provide excellent customer service
About you
* Superior teamwork skills
* Commitment to undertake additional training as required
* Able to work outside for long durations of time
* Ability to meet CAT 1 Rail Medical Assessment and other pre – offer checks
* Must be available to work 24/7 shift roster
* Current unrestricted Class C drivers licence
