About the Role
This rural generalist Occupational Therapist position has a strong paediatric focus and is suitable for professionals passionate about working with children. You will plan, implement, and evaluate integrated services tailored to the community.
Under reduced clinical direction, you will deliver preventative, early intervention, and therapeutic approaches, and support the supervision of less experienced allied health staff and students.
The position is ongoing, though contract arrangements can be considered if preferred.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and evaluate occupational therapy services for paediatric and general patient population.
* Provide early intervention and preventative strategies.
* Support clinical supervision and professional development of allied health assistants, students, and less experienced staff.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external service providers to promote functional outcomes.
* Contribute to quality improvement and service evaluation.
Qualifications
* Recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession.
* Eligible for practising membership of the relevant Professional Association.
* Current registration (if required) and ongoing professional development.
* Experience delivering paediatric occupational therapy services preferred.
