Local Cook and Senior Cook
Location: Karratha, WA • Work type: Full Time • Salary: $90,000 - $102,000.
We are seeking motivated and experienced cooks and senior cooks to join our support services team in Karratha. This is a full time role and you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook dishes buffet style across all sections whilst adhering to dietary standards and guest preferences.
* Maintain a clean and organised kitchen workspace, following food safety and hygiene protocols.
* Collaborate with culinary staff and adapt to different situations in the kitchen while consistently delivering exceptional service.
Requirements
* Must have full working rights in Australia.
* Must hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Trade Certificate.
* Must have a sound knowledge of food safety standards and culinary techniques.
* Must be able to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening and national police clearance.
