Job Title
The Senior Service Desk Officer is a critical role within our organization, responsible for delivering frontline IT support to staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our technology services and assets.
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional who can provide expert technical support and guidance to staff, as well as contribute to the development of our IT service management processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support and guidance to staff on the use of technology services and assets.
* Monitor and analyze system performance and service desk metrics to identify trends and potential issues.
* Assist in managing software and hardware asset lifecycles, including installation, configuration, patching, license administration, and decommissioning.
* Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT service management operations.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT service management or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
