Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician who will provide maintenance support and technical expertise for specific equipment. The Maintenance Technician will use their mechanical skills and experience to troubleshoot, resolve technical problems and improve reliability/performance in their functional area.

Key Requirements:
* Preventative maintenance, identify, solve and remedy breakdown issues
* Respond to call outs and unplanned maintenance in a timely manner
* Experience in problem solving and fault resolution
* Maintains a clean & safe working environment
* Adhere to all site safety procedures whilst undertaking maintenance tasks and documentation completed.
* Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OHSE) - strict adherence to company OHSE policies and procedures.
* Fabricate/install new equipment and manufacture and replace parts as required
* Requirement to work overtime as requested to ensure plant operation continues
Qualifications and Skills:
* Trade qualification - (Certificate III in Engineering)
* Strong mechanical aptitude
* Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Demonstrated commitment to safety
* Ability to prioritise responsibilities and take initiative
* Be self-motivated and reliable
* Experience with a maintenance management system & documenting of tasks
