What you'll do:
The UX Researcher will be embedded within the Design team and work alongside Product Owners and analysts to ensure that everything we deliver is focused on a clear understanding of users' needs and goals. They will help define how user research is integrated into all phases of a project, from discovery to evaluation, and will be actively involved in advocating the role and importance of a user-centred approach to design and development.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan and implement user research strategies.
- Conduct and evaluate qualitative and quantitative research, across a diverse set of research tools e.g., focus groups, surveys, usability testing, card sorting, ethnographic methods
- Mentor and coach other team members.
- Advocate a research culture and a user-centered approach to design.
What you'll bring:
- Previous experience in a mid to large company or digital agency.
- Ability to perform research-related tasks i.e., running, planning, evaluating, and iterating.
- Ability to translate business requests into actionable, transparent, and answerable research questions.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent collaboration skills, and proven experience in helping to make strategic decisions during product development.
- (Optional) Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a human-related fields e.g., Psychology, HCI.
