What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal business has an opportunity for a HR driver to join our team located in Cairns QLD. In this role you will be delivering a variety of products to our local customers. We currently have a casual opportunity available on day shift, working Monday to Friday starting anywhere between 5:00am - 7:00am and finishing between 1:00pm - 3:00pm + potential overtime.
Key Areas:
* Driving to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
* Available to work a consistent roster Monday to Friday on day shift
* Completing correct load restraints and manual handling techniques
* Ability to work & communicate effectively with team members, managers & customers on a day-to-day basis
* Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation

You can demonstrate:
* Current and valid HR license and previous experience operating a Heavy Rigid vehicle
* Current and valid LF license is highly desired
* History of safe work practices
* Familiarity with Cairns metro and surrounding area
* Responsible manual handling experience
* Solid customer service and communication skills

Additional Information
You will be required to meet Linfox's employment criteria which will include but not be limited to a criminal history check and full medical with a drug and alcohol test.

Applicants will require eligibility to obtain a minimum level of Baseline security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA), which may include the ability to obtain Australian citizenship. Maintenance of this level of clearance at all times during employment in this position is an inherent requirement of the role.
