Job Description
A support worker plays a vital role in assisting individuals with disabilities or older Australians to live and recover within their community.
The successful candidate will provide personalized support, promoting independence, skill development, and social participation. This includes assistance with daily living tasks, transportation, finance management, and personal care.
In this dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with customers, families, caregivers, and stakeholders to develop tailored support plans that cater to individual needs and goals.
Your expertise will enable customers to navigate the healthcare sector, accessing additional services as required. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to enhancing recovery journeys and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* A minimum Cert III in disability, mental health, peer work, or individual support (or equivalent)
* A valid NSW Driver's License (Class C) with ability to drive large cars and/or vans
* An Australian Federal Police Check, NSW WWCC, and NDIS WC (or willingness to obtain before commencing the role)
