About the role
Tropical Fruit World is seeking a friendly and customer-focused Casual Guest Services/Receptionist to join our team in Duranbah, NSW. As a casual employee, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the smooth running of our vibrant Agri-Tourism fruit farm.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner
* Providing information about our products, services and attractions
* Assisting with ticket sales and operating the point-of-sale system
* Answering phone inquiries and responding to customer emails
* Supporting the wider guest services team with various administrative tasks
* Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and presentation in our reception area
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer service or guest relations role, ideally in the tourism or hospitality industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Proficiency in using bookings systems like Rezdy and computer software such as Microsoft Office
* A friendly, positive and professional demeanor
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
